Job Description

Responsible for providing on-site technical support, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of batteries and Home UPS systems for AMC customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspection, preventive maintenance, servicing, and testing of batteries and Home UPS systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, battery, charging, inverter, wiring, and system-related issues.
• Perform battery health checks, voltage checks, load tests, and other technical assessments.
• Repair, replace, or adjust faulty components as required.
• Attend customer complaints and provide timely on-site technical support.
• Ensure proper installation and connection of UPS units, batteries, cables, terminals, and accessories.
• Prepare service reports and communicate technical findings and recommendations to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with Service, Sales, Warehouse, and other teams for spare parts and service requirements.
• Follow technical manuals, safety standards, company procedures, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain service tools, testing equipment, and other technical equipment in good working condition.

Job Specifications

• Minimum literate with 3 years of relevant experience or TSLC completed in Electrical/Electronics or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of batteries, Home UPS systems, electrical wiring, charging systems, and inverters.
• Knowledge of special tools and spare parts.
• Knowledge of minor aggregate/component repair and replacement.
• Good product and technical knowledge related to batteries and UPS systems.
• Ability to perform basic diagnosis, testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety and technical procedures.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel for on-site customer service.
• Two-wheeler license and willingness to travel within the assigned service area preferred.
